Motion Core 11.1 release

We’ve got good news for you!

With the recent release of Motion Core 11.1, the movie recognition issues on the HaptiSync Hub have been resolved. All movies are now recognized by the Hub once again!

Plus, with Adaptive Audio Mode, you can now watch any movie or TV show with haptic feedback from your PC or your HaptiSync Hub with an in-line connection. With this mode, our software provides movements & vibrations based on the audio being played! If you use an HEMC, hang tight—Adaptive Audio Mode is coming to you soon!

Happy watching!

I hope the update for HEMC comes very quickly :+1:

It should not be very long!

So this is basically Transducer mode?

If so… I am excited!

Thank you!

Kind of! Haptisync recognize the sound that’s playing and you get the vibrations and textures (not motion). You’ll need an in-line connection to do so.

Great news. Any suggestions on a way to extract a stereo signal from a HDMI feed, without buying a new receiver?

Tim

Done!

I really hope it works well as I might be able to eliminate my Crowsons from the system if it works well.

My app is still on version 2.1 and I do not have the new Adaptive Audoi Mode. I see on Apple store that the app is now 2.2. Unfortunatly, I don’t have apple mobile or any mobile. I’m using a windows tablet.

Anyone else on that issue ?

I spoke with the team regarding this. It seems you can use an audio converter (like this : https://atlona.com/product/at-hdr-m2c/)
Or you could use R + C exits on preamplifier.
If it doesn’t make sense, please let me know and I’ll have someone contacting you

If you download Motion Core on our website form your tablet, it should be working.

Everything working as far as movies. Seems like android hasn’t moved to 2.2 yet. Contacted support and they have the same issue. Hopefully they get the problem fix soon.

Happy to have my seats moving again so far !

Here’s one solution. Search for an HDMI audio extractor. The HDMI cable from your receiver goes into it then out to your screen. It has an input for HDMI in and HDMI out, which goes to your TV or projector. It will also have outputs for Right and Left stereo. You then need a cable that takes those two stereo outputs into one headphone jack that plugs into your HEMC or haptisync hub. This works perfectly for me. There are many HDMI audio extractors out there so make sure it has these inputs and outputs and also read the customer feedback on the different options. They are inexpensive and they do the job.

Hi Amelie.
This is sensational news! Adaptive Audio Mode is a dream feature that I thought I would never see. I have a HEMC and I can’t wait! :star_struck:

SOON! Very, very soon!

I hope so

The new Firmware is now online for HEMC

Great news!
Adaptative Audio Mode is now available for HEMC.

Switch to the HaptiSync App
Our HEMC app will be soon end of life, meaning that now is the time to switch to the HaptiSync app—this will allow you to make the most out of your entertainment thanks to our Adaptive Audio mode, which is only accessible via the HaptiSync app. Plus, this will allow you to manage all your haptic experiences from one place!

Where to Find the App
If you’re using an Apple device, the HaptiSync app can be found in the App Store and if you’re on an Android, you can find the app in the Google Play Store. There’s also a Windows version that can be downloaded directly from our website.

Happy watching!

Hey Mac. Are you running Atmos/DTS:X? If so, can you link what hdmi audio extractor you are using? I was unable to get any of many to work for this using the newer codecs as most extractors are unable to decode them.

Hey Brandon.

I use this extractor which I’ve had for a couple of years now. It says it’s unavailable on Amazon at the moment. I’m not running Atmos or DTS:X though. I have a ‘hidden’ cinema which is in my living room and so I didn’t want to go as far as installing speakers in the ceiling. I have a bit of a hack which approximates a sort of Atmos effect. All my speakers except the centre speaker are at ceiling height on the walls. I’ll try and put something in the home cinema or DIY thread that we have to show my setup.
Neoteck seem to make a variety of audio extractors. Mine has 2 HDMI outputs for the TV and the Laser TV as well as extracted audio. If you have this device on the HDMI cable coming out of the receiver on it’s way to your monitors, you may be able to get Atmos sound through your speakers first then extract the stereo sound after it comes out of the AV receiver’s HDMI. I have the Amp set to output HDMI audio to TV + Amp at the same time. The speakers work while retaining audio output through the outgoing HDMI. Some extractors do struggle with certain codecs but this one has not failed me yet.
